Dedicated to furthering the barbershop style and making it accessible to audiences everywhere, Artistic License is the 2011 champions of the highly-competitive Far Western District, an honor won in their very first attempt!
In 2017, the quartet earned honors as the 8th best quartet in the world, going up against international competition in Las Vegas, including groups from as far away as Sweden, England and New Zealand. Based in the greater Sacramento, CA area, Artistic License pleases audiences throughout the country, and they'd love to sing for you sometime soon! They are currently the 10th highest ranked barbershop quartet in the world.
C.O.D is a men’s barbershop quartet that sings four-part harmony, which began in November of 2018. Some folks have asked what C.O.D stands for? Well, we had an initial thought; however, the name we wanted was already taken. We decided to run with the acronym as we needed to get some paperwork processed to register with the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). The goal of C.O.D is to bring our varied ages, experience, love of barbershop to build memories while performing for audiences and maybe hit a contest now and then to keep the judges on their toes. So, back to the name…we are open to suggestions. What do you think C.O.D stands for?
